Shipping & Delivery

Products ordered through The Children's Art Project website are shipped using Federal Express (FedEx) or USPS. Product delivery options include:

  • FedEx SmartPost (approximately 5-7 business days)
  • FedEx Ground (approximately 3-5 business days)
  • FedEx 2-Day (2 days)
  • USPS Ground Advantage (approximately 3-5 business days)

Additional Shipping information:

  • Business days are Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.
  • Processing time is approximately 2 business days.
  • A street address is required for delivery.
  • At this time MD Anderson only ships product(s) to the U. S. including Hawaii.
  • Interested in placing an order to be delivered out of country? Email or call up so we can provide you a shipping estimate.

Taxes:

Sales Tax is charged when the point of delivery is in Texas. Delivery to an address in Houston, TX is 8.25%, all other Texas residents rates will be calculated automatically and be charged between 6.25-7.25%. When tax is charged, shipping will be taxed.

Return and Exchange Policy

General Policy:

Shop.MDAnderson.org will gladly exchange apparel purchases for different sizes and colors within 30 calendar days from the original purchase date. We accept both exchanges and returns, but we do not provide store credit.

Shipping Costs:

  • Exchanges: Customers are responsible for shipping costs.
  • Defective or Incorrectly Shipped Items: We will waive shipping charges. If the product is found not to be defective, return shipping fees will apply both ways.

  1. Mail or Drop-off:

    • Include your name, order number, and desired size(s) for exchange.

  2. Processing Time:

    • Returns and exchanges take 5-7 business days.
    • In-person exchanges take about 10 minutes and are by appointment only.

  3. Inspection for Defective Items:

    • We will inspect returned items. If defective, a replacement will be provided.
    • Non-defective items will incur return shipping fees and be sent back to you.

Contact Us:

  • To initiate a return or exchange, complete the "Contact Us" form on our website.
  • For in-person exchanges at El Rio, schedule an appointment by letting us know your preferred date and time.
  • Office hours for drop-offs: Monday to Friday, 8:00-11:30 AM and 1:00-3:30 PM.

Note: Gift shops will only process even exchanges for the exact same item and color, just in a different size. They will not provide any refunds for items bought online.

What information does MD Anderson collect from you?

How do we use the information we collect?

Our primary goal in collecting personal information is to provide MD Anderson's visitors with a superior customized online experience. How can you update or correct your Personally Identifiable Information?

We believe you should have the ability to access and edit the personal information that you have provided to us. During the online ordering process you can review, change, or delete the information that you have submitted. You may change any of your personal information in you account online at any time. We encourage you to promptly update your information if it changes. You may ask to have the information on your account deleted or removed; however, because we keep track of past purchases, you cannot delete information associated with past purchases. Also, as a security measure we "back up" the data stored on our systems, and such prior information cannot be completely removed from our databases. As a result, you should not expect that all of your Personally Identifiable Information will be completely removed from our backed-up databases.

What are your choices regarding collection, use, and distribution of your information?

Email: We may from time to time send you email or other communication regarding current promotions, specials and new additions to the MD Anderson website. You may "opt-out," or unsubscribe from our newsletters by following the unsubscribe instructions in any email you receive from us. After doing so, MD Anderson users will not receive future promotional emails UNLESS they open a new account, or sign up to receive newsletters or emails.

When you access your account information, the information is kept on a secure server. All of the customer data we collect is protected against unauthorized access by physical security means.
